I bring the shirt closer. It still has his scent. I can almost see him wearing it. Even though Isaac is the only man I have been with, there is no mistaking the passion between us. Even our moments together before we had sex were so hot. The sexual tension between us used to drive me crazy. I don't think there will ever be another man that can make me feel as good as he did.

I sit down on the edge of the bed, still clutching the shirt. These pregnancy hormones are making me feel crazy. Just the thought of Isaac has me turned on right now. I wonder if there is a chance that I might bump into him again while I am staying with Kylie?

If I drop by my old house, it might be possible. I can catch him while he is busy working. Maybe bring him something to eat or drink as a peace offering. If it’s warm, he might have his shirt off. His muscles glistening with sweat.

I’d watch the movement of his body as he lifts the heavy lumber. I would call out to him. Then, when he turned to look at me, I would feel it. That shiver of desire that courses through my body whenever our eyes meet. I’d cross the room and stand in front of him.

“Mia,” he would call out softly. Gently he would pull me into his arms and stroke my hair. I would caress his cheeks while gazing into his deep eyes. “I know this is foolish, but I just can't resist you any longer.”

I close my eyes as he kisses me. Our breathing is fast. His tongue enters my mouth warm and inviting. I grab his back, wanting him closer. His hands are on my waist. We stand pelvis to pelvis, pressed tightly against each other.

“Oh, Isaac, take me now,” I beg. He lies me on the floor, pulling off my clothes. Buttons go flying everywhere. He is like a madman as he tries to caress and kiss every part of my naked body.

“Oh, Mia, I have missed you so,” he moans.

I can't wait anymore. My pussy is a throbbing bundle of desire. I can feel my fluids already leaking out.

“No more wasting time,” I murmur as I spread my legs for him. His cock slides effortlessly inside. Our bodies move together in that familiar rhythm.

“Oh, Isaac, I've missed this,” I cry out.

It's like he is soothing an ache in me that I didn't know I had. A summer breeze blows into the room. We make hot, sweaty love there on the floor of my old home. We cry out each other's names as we cum together.

Trembling, I wrap my arms around Isaac and hold onto him. “Please don't let me go,” I whisper.

He nods and leans his cheek onto the top of my head. “I won't. I promise I am not going to make that mistake again,” he whispers back.

A loud noise crashes outside my dorm room. The other students are partying. I jump as this brings me back to reality.

I'm still at Harvard, sitting on the bed in my room. I have Isaac’s shirt clutched to my chest. I frown as I realize it was all just a dream, then sigh as I put the shirt aside, grab another handful of my clothes and arrange them in my suitcase.

How could I have such foolish thoughts like that? You'd think I'd have learned my lesson already. But, it still hurts to this day the way Isaac rejected me and pushed me away. I've never felt sadness like that before, nor do I want to feel it again. So, there is no way I can ever see him or consider going back to him again, right?

I pause in my packing as I think about this. How long does it take someone to recover from something like that? I guess I'll have to keep living to find out.

I sigh and resume packing before I get too tired. Pregnancy wears me out quickly these days. It's a wonder I was able to accomplish anything these last two months.

Chapter Fourteen - Isaac

I’m down to the kitchen reinstall, but I can hardly concentrate, so I put my tools down in frustration, walk away then breathe in and out a few times.

I'm so angry at myself. I'm never going to get this job done.

I sigh and check my blueprints again, getting mad once more when I see the mistakes that I’ve made. I'm already behind schedule on this flip. I run my fingers through my hair in exasperation. No matter how hard I try to concentrate, I just can't. My mind keeps wandering to thoughts of Mia and what she is doing right now.

I shake my head and leave the kitchen. I need to do everything that I can to keep from getting distracted. This incredible summer weather isn't helping matters either.
